- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related discipline from an accredited university or college

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under guidance of Director of Public Affairs and other Communications' staff, this position will assist in the development and production of a variety of intra-company communications. This position will interact with internal and external parties by coordinating events, researching media materials, and producing public relations background information. Incumbent will gain practical, real-world experience in communications that will help the individual grow professionally.
POSITION COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write communications clearly and concisely
- Ability to write quickly with minimal editing required
- Knowledge of proper writing style and grammar rules
- Ability to use discretion working with sensitive and confidential information
- Willing to work cooperatively in a team environment

16-AND-UNDER KANSAS CITY KEYS 53, ST. LOUIS GATEWAY 49 FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS — The Kansas City Keys won the Battle of Interstate 70 with a win over St. Louis Gateway on Sunday as well as a bigger prize: the Boys 16-under Championship of the Real Deal on the Hill. With 36 seconds left and the Keys down 2, Daylen Robinson, made a steal which lead to a tie score at 49 apiece. A timeout was called and that was when Coach Couch anticipating Gateway’s tactics informed his team to trap the post (sellout) and not allow them to pass out of it. With three seconds left and the teams tied, St. Louis Gateway Basketball center #52 called a timeout it didn’t have, which resulted in a technical foul. Kansas City’s Daylen Robinson hit both free throws to put the Keys up by two, and Steve Carver added a layup at the buzzer to give Kansas City a 53-49 victory.
