Apply for the Danny Williams’ KEYS Scholarship.
Honoring the legacy of former Kansas City Keys coach Danny Williams. Danny Williams embodied the ideals and attitudes of excellence and its pursuit to always strive to be greater.
Scholarship award winners will receive a $1,000.00 book scholarship.
Applications become available August 1st, 2026
Deadline is December 31st, 2026
Award winners will be announced by January 15th, 2027

SPARK! STEM Experience
This summer, the Kansas City Keys launched the SPARK! Summer Experience, a four-week pilot STEM program designed to provide quality, meaningful programming for youth. We had the opportunity to serve 50 students through hands-on experiences that encouraged students to explore, create, collaborate and solve problems. The greatest joy was seeing the spark in students’ eyes when students found a solution after trying, failing and trying again.
Throughout the four weeks, students explored STEM concepts including circuits, energy transfer, the water cycle and chemical reactions. Each experience connected STEM concepts to hands-on challenges while building critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.
